Connecting Past to Present: Preserving the South Jersey Glass Tradition
November 5 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Glass making in America started and remains in South Jersey. From the natural resources to the influence of immigration patterns, from reflection of important historical events to the impact of business practices, from production ware to unique pieces of art, the South Jersey glass tradition lives on. Join Kristin Qualls, from the Museum of American Glass Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center, for an exploration of hand-made glass in South Jersey from its colonial origins to today’s contemporary art.
This event will be streamed on the Pinelands Commission’s YouTube channel, where video of the event will be archived afterwards.
