Watershed Map

The Barnegat Bay watershed is the land area from which water flows into creek and rivers and eventually into the bay. Find your place in the watershed!

The Barnegat Bay watershed is the entire land area that drains to the Barnegat Bay-Little Egg Harbor estuary (Barnegat Bay). It is comprised of 11 subwatersheds and the barrier island communities. Each subwatershed drains into a particular stream, creek, river or groundwater which then flows into Barnegat Bay.

The map below shows the Barnegat Bay watershed and it’s subwatersheds. Use the map to find detailed information about your watershed address. Simply select a subwatershed on the map below or click on the name of your subwatershed below the map. Turn features on and off to view different elements of the map.
