Citizen AcTS is a program developed by Dr. Dina Fonseca that engages communities to develop mass-trap deployments to control mosquitoes in their neighborhood. This alternative minimizes or even eliminates the use of insecticides that often flow into the marsh or other waterways.

All must register ahead of time by calling the Tuckerton Seaport at 609-296-8868. Cost is $2.00 per person (payable at the door).  For the 12:30 program, participants can order lunch from the Union Market. Lunch is $8 and will include soup, sandwich and coffee (see the menu below). Please call the Union Market at 609-879-5799 to place your order and pick up your lunch at the restaurant the day of the Lunch and Learn presentation.
