Did you know there is a miniature underwater world in every stream? Learn about stream macroinvertebrates at the FREC, located on the headwaters of the Toms River. Wading in the stream, we will collect tiny aquatic insects and then identify them. Wear shorts and shoes to get wet. This is an easy, fun way to explore bug-life.

This event is part of the “Super-Fly” 2019 Family Summer Series on Insect Life hosted by the FREC. Events are Saturdays in July from 10:00 – 11:30 am. All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
