Creature Features are a weekly summer program for children in grades 1-7. These programs introduce creatures of the estuary and ocean through hands-on activities. Like last year, Creature Features will be remote learning/virtual only, but we plan to include other fun components such as “take and make” crafting kits, scavenger hunts, games, stories, and more! Creature Features begin at 9:30am and will run for approximately 30-45 minutes through Zoom.

“Fish Facts” July 27th, 2021. In this lesson, we will discuss fish and the role they play in our communities by hosting a role-playing game! Students participate by dressing and pretending to be a local fisherman, a scientist, or other person interested in fish/fishing. Then we will meet some real folks that have based their careers around fish!
